Newsletter - JULY 2025

End of Third Term Newsletter – July 2025

Ready, Set, September!

Dear Esteemed Parents and Guardians,

As the third term comes to a joyful close and we celebrate the success of our graduating

children, we take a moment to thank you sincerely for your unwavering support

throughout the academic year. It has been a fruitful session of learning, growth, and

memorable moments for the children, and we are grateful for your trust and collaboration.

Resumption Date

The new academic session begins on Monday, 15th September 2025. We look forward to

welcoming the children back refreshed and ready for another exciting year of learning.

School Fees and Uniforms

We kindly remind all parents that timely payment of school fees is crucial to ensure

smooth operations and preparations for your child's return to school. Prompt payments

enable us to provide the best resources, learning materials, and environment for your

children.

For parents of children transitioning from Daycare to Nursery, and Nursery to Primary,

please note that new uniforms have been included in your child’s school fees invoice. This

is because children moving to new year groups will require a fresh set of uniforms. If you

have any questions or require more information, feel free to contact the school office for

clarification or assistance.

Upcoming Events – First Term 2025/2026

We are already preparing for an eventful and enriching term. Planned events for the

coming term include:

● Cultural Day in celebration of Nigeria’s Independence Day

● Christmas Party to round off the term with festive cheer

Further termly activities and events will be communicated once the new term begins, and

more details will be shared in the First Term Newsletter. A tentative school calendar for

the 2025/2026 academic year will also be shared with you before resumption.

Holiday Activities

As the long holiday begins, we encourage you to keep your children engaged with fun and

stimulating activities such as:

● Reading storybooks together

● Age-appropriate educational games and puzzles

● Practicing letter and number writing

● Exploring crafts, music, and drawing

Cartoons, especially those where characters engage in meaningful conversations, can be

beneficial for developing speech and vocabulary. However, we strongly advise careful

monitoring and moderation of screen time to ensure children are not exposed to

inappropriate content or excessive digital stimulation. You can order curated

age-appropriate books and games for the holiday from our official partner Booktropolis -

08085314161.

In Appreciation

We are incredibly proud of the progress every child has made and the journey we’ve shared

with you this school year. Thank you once again for being part of the Cornelia Schools

community. We wish you and your family a safe, restful, and joyful summer holiday!

Warm regards,

Cornelia Schools Management

Learn. Grow. Shine.
